I want to dye my hair and get funky highlights. but im not sure which colors would be good?

i was thinking about a dark blue but im not sureI want to dye my hair and get funky highlights. but im not sure which colors would be good?
uuum idk about weird colors. those usually make a girl look trashy. but w/ that color i would do deep auburnish red or if you dye it blonde go w/ a blue. but just consider how it may make you look:/
