Highlighting hair at home w/ honey, golden and copper highlights?

i have very dark brown hair (darker than in my avatar picture haha) and i want to add some honey/golden/copper highlights, kind of like miley cyrus' hair.

I advise you to see a stylist, all over haircolor is fine with at home kits, but when you want to do highlights, especially that you want to go up few levels and it will require lots of peroxide it is best to have someone else do it for you. Unless you want to end up with damaged hair and uneven streaks.
You should probly go to a hair dressers, they dont charge lots for highlights, and ts even cheaper if you have sides instead of full head.
