Hair Highlighting??

some people tell me that if you put lemon juice in your hair and go out in the sun, you will get blonde highlights in your hair, and if you put cranberry juice, then you will get red highlights...is this true? does it look nice or trashy?Hair Highlighting??
i tried dying my hair with lemon and it does work. you will only see results if you have light brown hair though, if you have dark hair it won't really work.Hair Highlighting??

You can naturally dye your hair with lemon juice, yes. The longer you're in the sun the lighter it gets so you can control it a little. It is pretty drying though so I'd recommend using a mask or something else that will moisten your hair afterwards. you could also dye it with Camomile tea, which is a bit better for your hair :)

ive heard of lemon juice, but it BARELY lightens your hair - barely noticable but nice if thats what you want
