I know you can cuz' I've had it done. However! I've also tried to do some pretty off the wall things to my hair on my own and as a general rule it goes bad. I would highly suggest that if you want to do that, go have it done by someone that knows what they're doing. yes...but i would reccomend getting a kit that contains both the base color youre going to use on your whole head and the highlight color. loreal and herbal essences both make kits like that...check your local grocery store or beauty store for them.
yes you may darken your hair up to 2 shades darker than normal coloring.
