Black hair with brown highlights?

I have brown hair and i want to put some brown highlights in it. I'm a boy though so would that look weird? I have medium short hair. Post your opinion and please put a link or something for a picture of how it would look. Thanks.Black hair with brown highlights?
As long as the brown is a similar color to your main hair, then yes.

Trust me, you don't want to have a huge contrast in your hair as to where you can see all the streaks go parallel, that just looks ugly...


The only time you should use big contrasts is when you're only applying a thick streak or two.Black hair with brown highlights?

Be sure to go to a salon though, its hard to lighten black hair.
