Lemon juice can lighten your hair, and the highlights will stay, but you have to have sun exposure for it to truly work. Of course, they'll grow out as your hair grows. I'm a natural blonde, but my hair gets a little darker in the winter.
I rinse my hair with lemon juice (diluted with water) during the winter about once or twice a month, and it keeps it nice and light. The dilution helps reduce the acidity which can damage your hair. You should use a good deep conditioner to help protect your hair.
This really works best on natural blondes or if you have really light brown hair. If you're a brunette, it may not really do anything.
yes. if you put some lemon juice on your hair like 3 table spoons will make your hair a little lighter in color. and ,make some highlights come a out some what.
Yes it does..
Lemon does it to an extent but I found that Hydrogen Peroxide does a much better job.
Yes, but it is not recommended because it can dry your hair out.
It will lighten your hair and once hair is lightened it is permanent. Your hair will not darken again however, some highlights may become dull so they may appear to have darkened a bit. Lemon and hydrogen peroxide (from the supermarket or drug stores) generally will not give you the desired result. It's best to leave hair color to the professionals, don't try to do it yourself.
Lemon works only with sunlight also dont use hydrogen proxide, try a lightener from the shelf.
YES I DID IT TO MY HAIR AND NOW M REALLY BLONDE!!
Yes lemon juice will lighten your hair but from what I know you must spend time in the sun to get the hair to lighten
yes, but DO NOT DO THAT! it may seem like a great way to make your hair beautiful, but acid in lemons can burn your scalp and your hair! they can cause split ends, damaged, dry hair, and actual hair loss if your hair isnt super thick1
lemons, also, by the way will not be permanent. if you want highlights naturally, try peroxide, or panteen highlights. sooo much better!
have fun!
no. lemons are acidic but unlike ammonia which is found in hair bleaching kits it will not lighten your hair. if you want to lighten your hair buy a home kit that says ';bleach blonde'; you can then dye your hair the shade that you want after it has been bleached.
