Hair highlighting/extensions?

I was going to have hair extensions put in. Their not synthetic, their human hair. Anyways, if i highlight my hair some sort of blonde color, would my own hair turn into a different shade than the extensions, since it's not my own hair?Hair highlighting/extensions?
They can yes because different hair takes color differently. Like protein is what holds a darker color, so if the hair is has different levels than it will bleach differently. I would recommend having the stylist who is putting in the extensions do the highlighting. I'm sure if they are a salon that does extensions regularly then they have some good experience is coloring extensions. Or just have some blond colored extensions weaved in so it will already have a highlighted appearence. Good luck.Hair highlighting/extensions?
HOW ABOUT BOTH!!!
IMO highlighting is going to weaken your hair unless you are conditioning on a regular basis.

How about weave that is sewn in and then you get the hair color change for a fab new look for summer 08. Plus you throw in extensions and you have a hot summer do that is at its best

i hope this helps
ermm it depends how many hightlights you have and if they are thick or thin...if you just have your top head done then i dont think this would make a differnce, but if you was to have a fulll head of high light you are going to have to put high lights into your exsentions aswell....but its not hair to do...just pick afrew strands of hair from your hair exstentions and just dye them the same colour as ur high lights on your natrual hair.....good luck =]

yh...av ur hair hightlighted 1st and then go and get your hair matched up to your exscetions thats if your havent already got them xx
probablly
No, get your hair highlighted first, then get the extensions to match your highlighted hair color. I have my hair highlighted and have extensions and nobody can tell it's not my real hair.
well. . . yes, i think it may have a different shade. . .

but it is still up to you. . . if you think that having a different shade is a fashion for you, then go for it!
